Okur practices, hopes he can play tonight

yes, we really are talking about practice.

Depending on how Okur feels today after participating in the first full workout
 he's done with the team since straining his right hamstring a week and a half
 ago, the 6-foot-11 Turk is eagerly anticipating rejoining the Jazz on the
court for real tonight.

已經許久沒跟爵士樂團練習的阿妹 相當希望今晚能夠重新歸隊上場

"Yep, it is a possibility," he said of playing in Game 4. "It's all up to
after practice how I feel, how my hamstring going to react. And I tell you
what, I'm excited so hopefully I'm going to feel good."

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan had no comment about Okur's possible return — he
doesn't like counting his healing chickens until they're hatched — but Utah
certainly could use another outside weapon and big body to counter the lengthy
and loaded Lakers.

Okur, who did pre-practice shooting drills with Andrei Kirilenko and special

 than he has been able to do recently.

Though he'll likely wear a sleeve on his wrapped-up leg, Okur will gladly trade

the past 41/2 games with his first hammy injury.

"It definitely is not fun to be sitting behind the bench, and I wish I was out
there playing," Okur said. "I'll look forward to go back out the floor and play
 the next game."

Okur was in a jovial, optimistic mood while talking with reporters and walking
on an elliptical machine prior to Friday's practice.

"So far, so good," he said. "Feels good, less pain."

PLENTY OF FANFARE: Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams each boasted about the
enthusiastic EnergySolutions Arena fans after their win there Thursday.

Jazz fans have found themselves another fan in ex-Indiana Pacers great Reggie
Miller.

"We have the best fans in the NBA," Williams said.

"They're loud from the start and they always give us a bit lift and a lot of
energy."

Boozer lauds the loudness of the loyalists, which came through thick and thin
Thursday.

"They were standing on their feet, cheering for us throughout the whole game.
They helped us get back," Boozer said. "They gave us more confidence and then
we made plays to give ourselves more confidence."

AIR HARPRING: Boozer's left-handed spin-and-slam was nice. Williams'
last-second game-winning floater was OK, too.

But the must-rewind-again-and-again play of Thursday's game might've come
from Matt "The Hammer" Harpring.

不過最讓人意難忘的Play卻是來自 麥特"雷神之鎚"哈普林

With nine minutes remaining, he stole the ball, got it back on a fast break
from Paul Millsap and capped the play and Utah's comeback by hammering down
a thunderous two-handed dunk for a 73-72 lead.

九分鐘裡 他幹了一堆好事 尤其是抓到米爺傳給他的快攻雙手爆扣讓球隊以73-72領先

"Matt got a dunk," Boozer said with a laugh. "We haven't seen Matt dunk in
about five years."

Harpring laughed about the play, saying he thought, "Oh, I've got to dunk this.
Guess I'll do it."

MISC.: He's starting now, but Andrei Kirilenko ended up as the NBA's
ninth-best sixth man. He received two second-place votes and one for third
for seven total points — well behind winner Jason Terry of Dallas. … The
Jazz's franchise record in Game 4 is just 19-22 overall and 5-6 at home in
the first round. … Utah beat Los Angeles in the fourth game to even their
Western Conference semifinal series at home last May. … The Jazz have beaten
the Lakers four out of the past five times and in seven out of
10 most-recent tries at the ESA. Utah is also 8-1 vs. L.A. in its safe haven
during the playoffs.
