Jazz want Boozer to come back
Most think there is a good chance Carlos Boozer
won't play for the Jazz next season, but if it's
up to Walt Perrin, the team's vice president of
player personnel, the power forward will re-sign
with the club.
"We absolutely want him back," Perrin told The
Salt Lake Tribune. "We just are going to have to
wait and see what happens to some of the other
guys on the free agent market. Then we'll be able
to go from there."
Boozer can leave the Jazz because he's an
unrestricted free agent. If he does, they'll probably
want to do a sign-and-trade to bring back a player
or two, or to gain a large trade exception.
