我爬文之後 知道最好是有
EAD card + offer letter
+ passport + i-20 with signature

我的情況是 我3/7他們收到我的OPT申請 後來也收到收據
但是網頁上現在仍是 initial review... (california service center)
我現在有offer letter 只缺EAD card (7/13生效)
我 5/13畢業 想要六月初回去六月底回來 但是不知道EAD card大概什麼時候到
(我猜六月初 到六月中到)
等於是 我要在畢業日前(5/13) OPT生效日前(7/13) 出入境一趟
爬文之後有入境時有兩種情況
1) EAD card + offer letter + passport + i-20 with signature
2) offer letter + passport + i-20 with signature
我知道第二種情況是比較爭議的
想請問是不是真的只能拿到EAD卡之後出境
或是請人寄回台灣? (感覺也有點風險 而且也不知道回美之前 EAD卡出來沒)
想要請問有人有相關經驗嗎? 可以給點建議

2.N. Can I reenter if my request for OPT is pending?
Yes, you may reenter to search for employment.
2.O. Can I reenter if I left while on OPT?
If your OPT has been approved and you depart before you get a job, your OPT
ends and you cannot reenter unless you have a written job offer.
If you have a job, you may travel and reenter to resume work at the same job
or you have a written offer for another job.

Travel Issues
Until your graduation date, you will travel as you always have as a student,
even if you have filed for OPT*. The documents you travel with are:
Valid passport
Valid (unexpired) F-1 visa stamp in passport
I-20 (endorsed for travel by OIS) on page 3 of the I-20 (Signature must be
less than 6 months old.)
*Filing for OPT has NO effect on your ability to travel before your
graduation date.
After your graduation date you will transition from an F-1 student status to
a status of an F-1 doing OPT. This means you must present to the border
officials all the documents listed ABOVE that you carried as a student:

EAD Card (says “Not Valid for Re-entry” since must be presented with ABOVE
documents. Alone, it does not suffice.) [8 CFR 214.2 (f) (13) (ii)].

It is NOT recommended that you depart the United States before you receive
the actual EAD card in hand to take with you for travel after your graduation
date.
Please note: You will still need to request a travel signature while on OPT.

self-addressed, stamped return envelope and the OIS request form to the
address below. Processing time is 4 business days.
