Valencia president: Benitez's Liverpool move was shock

Valencia president Jaime Orti says Rafa Benitez's decision to quit the
club for Liverpool took him and his board by complete surprise.
"I don't believe his decision to leave damaged the club, because we acted
very quickly to find his replacement," Orti told Marca.
"He has his reasons for leaving. We have always maintained that no-one is
bigger than the club. But the drastic decision did leave us unprepared.
"I don't believe it has affected the players, but it was a major surprise
."
