Valencia president admits: We owe Liverpool boss money

Valencia president Jaime Orti has acknowledged the club owes around ￡1.5
million to Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.
A League tribunal has ruled that Valencia owe their former coach the
amount, but Orti insists: "It is correct that the club owes Benitez money.
"But it is important from our point of view that we consider the real
debt that is owed. We are looking after our interests, just as Benitez is
looking after his."
Claudio Ranieri has been granted a provisional licence to coach Valencia
for the early weeks of the season, but the Spanish champs must pay what is
owed to Benitez for Ranieri's presence to be rubberstamped
