Valencia coach Ranieri given support by club chiefs

Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri has been boosted after receiving
personal support from the club's two main powerbrokers.
New Valencia president Juan Soler and chief director Manuel Llorente
both telephoned Ranieri yesterday to offer their support to the underfire
Italian and to assure him of their confidence in his ability.
Ranieri is growing fed up with comparisons with predecessor Rafa Benitez
, particularly as he is only getting started in his new job at the Mestalla.
Media reports that he has lost the dressing room have also frustrated the
Italian.
