     Valencia coach: New system won't bring immediate results

    Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri had no problems with his team's effort in
yesterday's 0-0 draw with Real Zaragoza.

    Ranieri dramatically changed his formation for the match and admitted: "
Its impossible to play great football from the first game of when you change
the system.

    "We tried to play it tighter and more compact. I did fear they would
catch us on the counter attack, but we held firm.

    "I want to thank the fans - who were superb today.

    "We need to improve our shooting and get our efforts on target. With the
new system, there will be less wing play and the ball will come through the
middle more.

      "We will keep working at it."
