Valencia to win race for Arsenal's Edu

Valencia are set to secure Arsenal midfielder Edu to a pre-contract next
month.
The Brazil international has rejected new terms offered by the Gunners
and can move to Spain on a Bosman in the summer.
DiarioSport says Edu expected to be signed by Valencia during the winter
market, but coach Claudio Ranieri blocked the deal after promising his
players that he wouldn't be bringing in any new transfers during January.
While disappointed, Edu is believed to have accepted the decision and
will move to the Mestalla in June.
