    Valencia coach Ranieri wants Aimar talks over Liverpool

    Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri will hold clear-the-air talks with Pablo
Aimar this week over comments attributed to him regarding a move to Liverpool.

Last week, Aimar was quoted in the English press saying he wanted to quit
Valencia and join his old coach, Rafa Benitez, at Liverpool. While the club
has since released a statement denying the story, Aimar is yet to comment on
it directly.

Ranieri insists he's never been told by Aimar that he is unhappy at the
Mestalla and will seek clarification from the Argentine as training resumes
this week.
