Valencia president Soler plans clearout

Valencia president Juan Soler is planning a major clearout at the end of
the season.
Soler is convinced a change of coach will not be enough to get Valencia
back on course and along with the expected dismissal of trainer Claudio
Ranieri, several players will also be on their way when the summer market
opens.
Valencia have slipped dramatically off the title pace over the last six
weeks and Soler has ordered sports director Eduardo Macia to attend every
game, home-and-away, to the end of the season to assess the current squad.
Macia's brief is to identify problem areas in Ranieri's team and to put
together a list of replacements to be submitted to the Valencia board.
