Valencia CF Fires Claudio Ranieri
The executive committee of Valencia CF has decided to fire the italian coach
and general manager of the club Claudio Ranieri, after the crisis of results.
The decision was announced by the president of the club, Juan Bautista Soler,
who also communicated that Antonio Lopez, second coach in the Rafael Benitez
era and nowadays director of the Valencia CF players' school, will take charge
of the team.
The leaders of the company celebrated an extraordinary meeting to treat
the dismissal of the italian coach after last night's disaster
in the UEFA Cup, when the team was knocked out of the competition
by the romanian team Steaua Bucuresti.
