Valencia offer deal to Bilbao striker Ezquerro

Valencia have offered a deal to Athletic Bilbao striker Santi Ezquerro.
Ezquerro is coming off contract at Bilbao and has been offered a new deal
on reduced terms.
Valencia's offer is for four years at his current terms - ￡850,000-a-
season - while Bilbao have offered three years at ￡550,000-a-year.
Ezquerro has informed Valencia officials he is happy with the contract
on the table, but does not want to commit just yet.
But he left intermediaries clear that if he was to leave Athletic that
Valencia would be his first-choice destination.
