Oxford boss Diaz linked as Valencia deny coach search

Valencia insist they are not seeking a replacement for current coach
Antonio Lopez.
Lopez's unusual agreement with Valencia, which has contracted him as
their sports director, has fueled speculation that Los Che are actively
seeking a new head coach for next season.
In Argentina, Carlos Bianchi, Marcelo Bielsa and Oxford United manager
Ramon Diaz have all been linked with Valencia, while in France Luis
Fernandez's name has been mentioned.
In a statement yesterday, Valencia said: "In reaction to the reports in
the foreign media on the supposed interest of our club in hiring a new coach
, Valencia wants to make clear we are neither negotiating with a new coach,
nor seeking one for next season."
