Valencia striker Roberto Soldado is hoping Saturday's 2-0 win over Atletico
Madrid in La Liga can kick-start his side's season.

Los Che have had an awful start to the league campaign and had only won thre
e of their nine games prior to the weekend.
Atletico, on the other hand, have emerged as genuine title contenders and he
aded into Saturday's encounter as favourites, but a stunning volley from Rob
erto Soldado and a late strike from Nelson Valdez handed Valencia all three
points, and the former is hoping the impressive victory will give his side a
real boost.
"I wish we knew what the key to victory is but we have to find some of the m
otivation we have at home for away games," he said. "We can't afford to drop
more points.
"We showed great confidence; it was a tough and very important match. My goa
l was more important than it was beautiful for sure.
"Today [Saturday] was the day for us; we had to perform against a direct riv
al who were quite far ahead of us in the table."
The Spain international was also relieved to see his side end their inabilit
y to find the back of the net, which plagued them in their previous game aga
inst Real Betis, which ended in a 1-0 defeat.
"We had some problems scoring in last week's game but we managed to do so th
is weekend," Soldado added.
"I think we competed at a great level and have beaten a very confident rival
, who were on an amazing winning streak."
Saturday's victory brought Valencia up to 9th in La Liga while Atletico rema
in in second place, three points behind leaders Barcelona.
