East Rutherford, NJ- Following an MRI exam today, it has been determined that
Nets guard Vince Carter has a Grade 1 sprain of the right ankle, Nets
President Rod Thorn announced. Carter will continue to receive treatment on
the ankle and there is no timetable for his return. The injury occurred in
the third quarter of the Nets 112-101 loss to the Boston Celtics on November
10.
Through the first six games of the 2007-08 season, Carter has averaged 17.0
points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
