MIAMI -- Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade missed the team's morning shootaround
practice because of flu-like symptoms, but coach Pat Riley said his leading
scorer would be ready for Friday night's playoff game against Detroit.
Riley said Wade was being treated, but did not divulge any specifics of the
illness.
"He'll be out there tonight,'' Riley said.
Wade was not suffering from the virus during Miami's Game 5 loss at Detroit
on Wednesday night in the Eastern Conference finals, Riley said.
Wade is averaging a team-high 27 points for the Heat, who could advance to
the NBA finals for the first time with a victory over the Pistons on Friday.
