於是奧地利要求塞爾維亞賠。

雙方就全部看英國怎麼說。
英國一邊對德國說﹕你放心﹐我不會讓大國爆發戰爭的﹐就算有戰爭﹐
那也是你們四家的事﹐一定沒有我什麼事。
英國另一邊又跟俄羅斯說﹕我聽說﹐德國想打你想很久了﹐他現在正在握拳用力。
（所以有評價說﹐如果英國跟之前幾次危機一樣﹐明確表達自己撐法、俄的話﹐
一戰可能不會打起來﹐會跟之前的危機一樣變外交解決）
然後﹐就打起來了。
