div圖層如果沒有特別定位 他應該會自動換行

但是剛剛想用css做表格時
<style>
.td{
float:left;
}
</style>
<div>
<div class="td">test1</div>
<div class="td">test2</div>
</div>
<div>
<div class="td">test3</div>
<div class="td">test4</div>
</div>
就會變成
test1 test2 test3 test4
是因為被td的float影響嗎!?
