Xmas Eve 2008: Strange Fortune finishes its mail order catalog
Merry Xmas from Strange Fortune
Thanks for the ton of orders received during our holiday sale. All orders
have shipped out.
As of the end of this holiday season '08, Strange Fortune has closed the
doors to its mail order catalog.
Less than a total surprise perhaps, as we haven't updated it much over the
past year.
Although sales and interest have continued well enough, I have less and less
time to give it proper attention and care, so I've chosen to finish it out.
I'm not saying it's the end of SF in any form. Strange Fortune may continue
in the future as a different kind of service, although there are no plans as
of yet.
For now I'm taking a break, and preparing for a move to a new scene.
Thanks for the past 9 years of musical discovery.
Best wishes to all the artists and labels we've worked with, and to our
customers with such exquisite taste in music.
