First Performers Announced For Grammys

Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.
Lil Wayne, the Jonas Brothers, Coldplay, Kenny Chesney and Katy Perry
are the first performers announced for the 51st annual Grammy Awards,
to be held Feb. 8 at Los Angeles' Staples Center and broadcast on CBS.
Perry's performance will be interactive. Fans can upload short videos of
themselves singing along to her hit "I Kissed a Girl" to CBS.com/Grammys
through Feb. 6; voting will determine which of them will be shown during
Perry's segment.
Each of the performers are nominated for awards; Lil Wayne leads the field
with nods in eight categories.
