No one stop her: Adele hangs on top of the global album chart for a fourth straight week. '21' sold another 259.000 copies last week, a 15% increase compared to the previous week. And next week, after the US-release, the set will reach a new peak with global sales between 450.000 and 500.000. Grammy nominee for best new artist, Mumford & Sons, shoots from no.7 to no.2 this week with their million-seller 'Sigh No More'. The album, which was released in October 2009, has now its best sales week ever, moved 199.000 copies, a huge 167% boost compared to the previous week. Short behind lands teen-star Justin Bieber with his remix set 'Never Say Never' at no.3, having start-sales of 175.000 units. Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' slides from no.2 to no.4, despite a 9% sales bump to 158.000 copies and round out the top five is Rihanna's 'Loud', which sails from no.3 to no.5 (up 14% to 141.000 copies). Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' leads nine debuts on this week's tally: J-pop duo Yuzu arrives at no.8 with '-2-Ni-' (90.000 copies), british alternative act PJ Harvey bows at no.13 with 'Let England Shake' (70.000 copies), american indie / folk band Bright Eyes opens at no.17 with 'The People's Key' (52.000 copies), another J-pop band, Attack All Around, short-form AAA, runs to no.19 with 'Buzz Communication' (51.000 copies), swedish pop duo Roxette climbs to no.20 with 'Charm School' (49.000 copies), australian praise and worship band Hillsong United carol at no.25 with 'Aftermath' (35.000 copies), french rapper La Fouine debuts at no.37 with 'La Fouine vs. Laouni' (26.000 copies) and scottish post-rock act Mogwai goes to no.40 with 'Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will' (25.000 copies). It was an exciting week on the global track chart: two songs set new records! The new smash of pop sensation Lady GaGa, 'Born This Way', gets 688.000 points after its first full week at retail. Never before since the start of the Media Traffic top 40 chart in January 1999 and track reach such a high level. The former record was held by Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg's 'California Gurls', which got 556.000 points in the week 27, 2010. And before 1999 there were only two tracks, with a greater potential: Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' from 1992 and Elton John's 'Candle In The Wind 1997'. In its first 10 days 'Born This Way' sold more than 1,5 million digital copies globally. 順便附上Adele 最近在美國各大節目上表演的影片 Ellen ; Someone Like You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OryxJ6GTHE
