Global Chart Report - No change at the summit of both lists
It was a tight race atop the global album chart, but at the end Adele's '21'
triumphs another time and holds the top spot for a phenomenal 40th week. But
the sales slide down slowly, last week '21' moved
188.000 copies, a 6,5% decrease compared to the previous week. Howsoever the
total sales of '21' reaches the 21 million level this week.

On the all time chart it climbed to no.63, the fourth best selling album of

(22 million), Norah Jones' 'Come Away With Me' at no.48 (23 million) and the
Beatles' '1' at no.14 (nearly 32 million).
Adele's big competitor on the
current hitlist is singer / songwriter Jason Mraz, his new effort 'Love Is A
Four Letter Word' bows close behind at no.2 with 175.000 copies.
