一個很囧的消息
No Doubt昨天釋出的Looking Hot MV
在不到12個小時就被官方緊急刪除
然後他們在官網PO了一段聲明

As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and
consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never
to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their
history. Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native
American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that
we have offended people. This is of great concern to us and we are removing
the video immediately. The music that inspired us when we started the band,
and the community of friends, family, and fans that surrounds us was built
upon respect, unity and inclusiveness. We sincerely apologize to the Native
American community and anyone else offended by this video. Being hurtful to
anyone is simply not who we are.

然後帶著傳統印第安頭飾在那裏假裝是印地安人
演出很多對印地安人的刻板印象
惹到一些少數名族的反彈
(米國某網友的解釋: The video was basically one giant stereotype of Native
Americans. I don't find it particularly offensive, but I could tell about 15
seconds in that people were going to be bothered by it, and they have
perfectly valid reasons to.

An American band making a music video pretending to be a stereotyped version
of a culture that suffered a huge genocide at the hands of white Americans
just isn't a particularly good idea.)

是不是有點誇張呢 =.=
No Doubt真的是很負責任的團體
居然立馬拔掉MV...
一般歌手幾乎都解釋一下就不鳥他了

是說
身為二單這首還沒打進Hot 100
原本想說靠這酷炫MV應該對打榜有些幫助
現在是要怎麼辦呢!?
拍支新的?還是棄單?
