[心得] Condrieu & Cote Rotie Tasting (下)

[hugogo (貴在交心)]

接著重頭戲就開鑼摟 四隻cote rotie來自上面的兩個莊 R Rostaing & Georges Vernay
cote rotie是北隆河相當著名的產區
所用的葡萄品種主要是 syrah 會混一些些的 Viognier (沒錯 就是前面的白酒葡萄品種)

首先登場的是兩隻2006的 R Rostaing

 1.  2006 Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie "Classique"   reg $59.99 / $49.99 case

第一隻是 R Rostaing的基本款 這隻酒我聞起來相當的peppery 同桌的人說是smoky
也是一隻外放討喜的酒 入口甜美酒體重帶有相當的水果風味
不過胡椒為太強的syrah我就比較不愛 還是相當不錯的一品

"($68) Deep red with a bright rim. Spicy raspberry and red licorice aromas
are complicated by smoky minerals and fresh flowers. Sweet red and dark
berry flavors possess very good depth and definition, with subtle anise,
mineral and candied floral qualities building with air. The clean finish
offers a brisk bite of cracked pepper, along with repeating dark berry
notes. Very seductive wine, with no gaminess and wonderful energy."  IWC 91

2.  2006 Rene Rostaing Cote Rotie "La Landonne"   reg $119.99 / $89.99 case

第二隻就是與積架酒莊頗富盛名的la la la之一 同產區的 "La Landonne "
這隻酒正如IWC所說的 酒體反而沒有基本款厚重 香氣相較來說內斂
剛倒出來還有些悶悶的感覺 放一會兒就漸漸散發出她的美麗
走的是細緻路線 口感正如酒評所說有如絲綢般的滑順
酸度比基本款強上一些 撐起這隻酒的層次感與餘韻
個人是很喜歡 不過同桌的人普遍不欣賞 這是一隻一喝就覺得潛力無窮的酒
在酒全部試完之後 當然趁著這難得機會又去要了一份
放一陣子後她的香氣聞起來像菜肉包 不是高麗菜的那種偏向比較香草風味的菜肉包
相當meaty有趣

"($135) Medium red. Mineral-driven aromas of red berries, cherry, Asian
spices and violet display impressive clarity and vivacity, and a delicacy
that is really intriguing. Light on its feet, with deeply concentrated red
berry and cherry flavors and a suave floral quality. Silky in texture like
a suave Chambolle-Musigny, with excellent finishing spiciness and cut. Pure
and stylish."  IWC 93

3.  2005 Georges Vernay Cote Rotie "Blonde de Seigneur"  $59.99 /$49.99

相較於Rene Rostaing的胡椒味 George Vernay這個莊的風格較偏向果香為主
剛送上來的時候甚至讓人懷疑她是不是syrah (好啦 我承認是我木舌)
一樣是一隻討喜適飲外放的好酒 果香之中又帶著syrah特有的胡椒味
不得不說 今天這幾隻酒 除了那些有的沒的我喝不出聞不出的味道之外
酒評的描述都是相當貼切 比起RR的基本款 我比較喜歡這隻

"The outstanding 2005 Cote Rotie Blonde de Seigneur exhibits the
beautifully sexy, seductive notes from the Cote Blonde, with raspberry,
kirsch, smoke, and flowers, followed by an elegantly wrought wine with
supple tannins, beautiful black and red fruits, and a savory mouthfeel. It
is rich, but not over the top."   WA 92

4.  2005 Georges Vernay Cote Rotie "Cote Maison"   $119.99 / $89.99

最後一隻是Georges Vernay的頂級酒款 果香沒那麼重 也是內斂型的 酸度也較高
這隻酒我沒有很喜歡 不過她的層次感不錯 最有趣的是finish
這隻中度酒體又帶點酸度的酒滑過舌際喉嚨之後 舌頭上先是感受到有點空洞
但是她的結構與丹寧卻又一分分的在舌上構建
能體會到每一秒鐘在舌頭上以能感覺的到的速度在增加 相當有趣的一隻酒

"Gorgeous aromas of Turkish coffee, warm fig bread and dark cocoa lead the
way for a lushly layered palate of fig, boysenberry and black currant paste
notes. Very alluring, with ample structure buried on the finish. Don't
overlook the reds at this Condrieu-based domaine; they've really improved
in the last few vintages."  Wine Spectator 94

會後總結:

今天真的是喝得有夠開心有吃又有喝 每一隻酒都倒1.5oz以上
現場不到30人每隻酒都開兩瓶 每隻酒也都相當有特色 非常滿意的一天
這樣只要$20 usd 而且今天我抱了一箱西班牙的酒走
他還沒算我tasting的$20  讓我實在十分猶豫 不知道是他故意的 還是沒算到
不過我可是有提醒他要把tasting的錢加進去
算了 就當作是酒專送我的生日禮物好了  呵呵~~~~~
