人們一定認為我瘋了才會說出這句話 但是當你相信你有世上最好的球隊時 你就會更強大

我們有許多年輕的球員 也有經驗的球員 這樣的組合將帶我們走的更遠

Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o says that he thinks his side can lift the

World Cup.



The Indomitable Lions will kick off their World Cup campaign against Japan

 this afternoon, and the Inter striker is confident his team can go all

the way in South Africa to become the first African side to win the

prestigious event.



"Cameroon can win the World Cup. People think I am crazy when I say this,

but if you believe you have the best team in the world, you are stronger,"

he told L'Equipe.


"If football continues being football, we have chances. I experienced great

 sadness with our elimination from the 1990 World Cup, with many penalties.

I still have that feeling of injustice in me."



Cameroon will also have to lock horns with the Netherlands and Denmark in

the group stage, but Eto'o is not fearing any of the opponents ahead.



"With the team we have we will make a very good World Cup. We have never

 had such potential," he noted.



"We have young players, but also very experienced ones, a mix that can

 bring very good things."
