Italy boss Marcello Lippi has settled on a starting XI for this evening's

 World Cup 2010 clash against Paraguay, according to La Gazzetta dello

Sport.


The former Juventus boss has opted to include Genoa defender Domenico

 Criscito and Riccardo Montolivo in the starting line-up, while Antonio

Di Natale may start from the bench.



Di Natale was Serie A's top scorer in 2009-10 with 29 goals.


The Azzurri will begin their World Cup defence with a 4-2-3-1 formation, a

system Lippi has been testing ahead of the tournament in training and

friendlies, but with mixed results as the team lost to Mexico and drew

Switzerland in underwhelming performances.


Meanwhile, veteran Gianluca Zambrotta should edge out Napoli's Christian

 Maggio on the right and Fiorentina star Alberto Gilardino will lead the

 line in attack.


Probable Italy line-up (4-2-3-1): Buffon; Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Chiellini,

 Criscito; De Rossi, Montolivo; Iaquinta, Marchisio, Pepe; Gilardino.
