Following his side’s 1-0 World Cup Group E victory over Cameroon this

 afternoon, Japan coach Takeshi Okada has praised his team for a job

well done.



"Today our players have really done a good job," Okada told the-afc.com.


"In the next game we will be up against the Netherlands so we will have

to go one step further.”



CSKA midfielder Keisuke Honda grabbed the only goal of the game to record

a historic victory for the Samurai Blue, but Okada isn’t carried away.



“This is the first win on foreign soil in the World Cup for our team

but this is not an achievement at all,” added Okada. “What's coming

next is the point.”


Japan face Netherlands on Saturday before rounding off their group

fixtures against Denmark five days later.
