國際足聯紀律委員會宣布不會對David Villa追加處罰 Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has received some good news in the build-up to the Furia Roja's crucial World Cup match against Chile on Friday. Prolific attacker David Villa won't be suspended for slapping Honduras defender Emilio Izaguirre in the face during Monday evening's Group H clash. The Barcelona star failed to control his temper when Spain got a free-kick minutes before the break and lashed out at his opponent. "The disciplinary committee examined the incident and found no grounds to open a case. A case was never actually opened," a FIFA spokesman was quoted as saying during Wednesday's media briefing. Villa netted a brace in his side's 2-0 win, but made the headlines for the wrong reasons following the incident with Izaguirre. The attacker admitted after the match that he should have behaved differently at the time. "It's not something that I am proud of. They're just instincts... in this case I wasn't expecting him to tread on me. I was merely standing there and the reaction was to stick my arm out. I'll try in future to keep my cool," Villa said to Canal Plus. http://0rz.tw/nERcL -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.113.169.95
