Attempted to get forward and help out as an extra attacker but just didn't
display enough dynamism to hit the byline and get crosses into the middle.

Passing was poor, especially in the first half. Got into some decent
positions down the right wing but often slowed the tempo.

Didn't establish any kind of communication between himself and Javi Martinez
and really threatened to lose his head in the second half.

Passing was suicidal for much of the match as he continually gave the ball
away in dangerous positions, which lead to the first goal.

Should have closed down Alexis Sanchez much quicker for the opening goal as
he allowed the Chilean to pick out a pass to his team-mate inside the box.
Missed an absolute sitter at the back post.
太慢擋下Sanchez讓他傳進禁區得到第一分 遠柱一個簡單的得分球也沒踢進

Diego Costa  1.5
Didn't manage to hold the ball up at all well and went on a through
stuttering dribbles that didn't lead to much. Had a half chance in which he
lashed a strike into the side-netting but just did not look comfortable in a
Spain jersey.
球都拿不太住 有過小機會但是踢在側網上 穿著西班牙球衣看起來就不自在

Pedro  2
Was extremely frustrating in the first half as he did manage to get into some
decent positions on the right-hand side, but constantly let himself down with
poor touches and dribbles into blind alleys.
在右翼試著得到有利的站位 但是控球不佳總是把球帶進死胡同

Was bright for the first 15 minutes of the second half and added some tempo
to Spain's passing but one poor diagonal to the left made him lose his
confidence.

Tested Bravo with a couple of decent shots from range.

Didn't have any particularly difficult saves to make but was tested on
occasions by shots from range, which he dealt with professionally. Commanded
the area with authority.

E. Mena  3.5
Was involved in an entertaining duel with Pedro and without a doubt came out
on top. Didn't fall for the bag of tricks provided by the Barca man and was
always providing width down the left-hand side.
跟Pedro的對決無疑是他勝出 完全不會被騙到 在左路提供深度

G. Jara  3.5
Headed away just about every cross that came into the box and didn't allow
Diego Costa any room to turn and get a shout away. Made a terrific block on a
strike from the Atletico man from 12 yards out.
把所有調中球都頂走 完全不讓Costa有射門空間 有一個極佳的阻擋

A. Vidal  4
Was magnificent in his box-to-box role. Linked up the play with the midfield
to the attackers with ease and and had a hand in the first goal with a
powerful run down the right.
華麗的全能表現 連結起中場和鋒線 第一個得分也有參一腳

C. Aránguiz  4
Supported the Chilean front two continuously and always made himself
available. Assisted the opener with an intelligent pass inside and scored the
second himself with a terrific prodded strike into the top corner.
總是為前場提供支援 助攻第一分 得到第二分

M. Diaz  3.5
Was a rock in the centre of midfield for Chile as he continually broke up
play and intercepted through passes. Game was summed up the second half when
he effortlessly shrugged Diego Costa off the ball to win back possession
during a Spain counter.
中場的一顆大石頭 把對手的球都攔下來 讓Costa一直拿不到球 終結掉比賽

F. Silva  3.5
Was brought in as an extra central defender and slotted in seamlessly beside
Medel and Jara. Gave himself enough room against the Spain attackers which
allowed him to nick the ball away with excellent tackles.
中場的額外防守球員 無縫接軌 出色地截斷西班牙的攻擊

M. Isla  3.5
Displayed a terrific engine in his full-back role down the right wing as he
pinned back Alba, thus partly nullifying the overlapping threat of the
Spaniard. Missed a great chance at the back post, though.

G. Medel  4
Was fantastic in his defending from crosses despite his height as he
continually put his head in where it hurts to clear the danger. Doggedly
picked away at the feet of the attackers, attempting to win possession.
雖然不高 但是都能在正確的位置把球頂走 尾隨著對手試著把球搶下

A. Sánchez  4
Kept up an impossibly high tempo during his time on the match and continually
dragged the Spanish defence out of position. Picked out Aranguiz with a
lovely pass into the box in the lead up to the first goal.
不可思議的速度 一直拖著防守球員跑 巧妙傳給禁區的Aranguiz讓他助攻第一分

E. Vargas  3.5
Didn't keep to a stationary position up top and was always looking to collect
the ball in the channels. Opened the scoring in the first half with a
wonderfully composed touch and finish past Casillas.
在前場到處移動製造接球通道 一個漂亮的球穿過Casillas入網

J. Valdivia  2.5
Got in amongst the action in the latter stages and frustrated Spain with some
dribbles down the left.
較晚上場 左路的帶球令西班牙感到沮喪

Stretched Spain with a few pacey runs on the right flank.
