Anderson's marriage ends after 16 months

Gillian Anderson and documentary filmmaker Julian Ozanne have separated after
16 months of marriage, their lawyers said yesterday.
"Gillian Anderson and her husband, Julian Ozanne, are saddened to announce
that their marriage is at an end," said a statement released in London by
Schillings law firm.
"At this difficult time they request that their privacy is respected. There
will be no further comment."
The couple married at a friend's beach house on Lamu's Shella island, off
Kenya's Indian Ocean coast.
Anderson, 37, who starred in TV's The X-Files, has an 11-year-old daughter,
Piper, from her previous marriage to production designer Clyde Klotz.
