OK. Let me tell you what I did for Taiwan. I come back to Taiwan when
China fired missles to Taiwan. I decided to stay in Taiwan and gave up
my opportunity to become American (If I stayed in the US for one more
year, I would recieve my US citizenship).
I convinced Intel to give Taiwan research funds instead of just giving support
to China.
I convinced John Wiley Publisher to use name "Taiwan" instead of "China".
Taiwan's name is carried by my book published over 40 countries.
I passed Taiwan's friendly message to President of the US through my PhD
advisor (my advisor Ed Lazowska is the IT chair advisor of the US President).
And so on.
I just feel sad that many good things we tried to build have been destoryed
by politicians just because they want to win election.
Now you tell me what have you done for Taiwan.

我什麼時候說過我反對陳水扁總統啊?我和他談過話˙握過手˙
感覺他的語氣溫和而堅定˙的確是領袖人才˙
我父親在宋楚瑜當省長時˙被聘為省選委會委員˙
極稱讚宋省長的行政幹才(就是性子急了一點)˙
我父親是當年省選委會委員惟一被延攬為中央選舉委員˙
換言之˙他會是這次總統大選的監督人之一˙
我也常常接觸他的選舉案例˙
所以不要再說我在象牙塔˙不懂政治活動˙
我父親是呂秀蓮哥哥的朋友˙曾向我提及這個女孩極為聰敏且精力旺勝˙
而交大前校長鄧起福教授則和連戰有所接觸˙他告訴我連先生為人厚道˙
御下寬厚˙我感覺他是極好的長官˙
在我觀察˙兩組候選人˙都是一時之選˙怎麼在籃綠兩陣營叫罵中˙
成為對方眼中十惡不赦之人呢˙不要再造勢活動了˙不要再漫罵對方了˙
讓這兩組候選人冷靜下來˙好好思考治國政策˙才是愛台灣˙
