Potentially the biggest drawback would be the dreaded "E18 error" that
a good number of people seem to have ran into, although I've read more
complaints about this with the A70, which is aside from the 3MP CCD pretty
much identical to the A60 as far as I know. I have seen the E18 error come
up maybe 3 or 4 times, but powering the camera on and off once or twice
would make it go away. Others have not been so lucky.

You only get a warning that the barrery must be replaced at the last
moment. The first time I had to change batteries the camera refused to
close the lens and gave me an "E18" error. What? Anyway, always carry
spares with you!
