2.Please give two methods to distinguish electric dipole from monopole.

Method 1:
The electric field vectors at all points near the electric monopole
are directed radially toward or away from the monopole.
Field lines for a positive and a nearby negtive point charge
that are equal in magnitude. The pattern of field lines of
the electric dipole it represents have rotational symmetry
about an axis passing through both charges in the plane which
normal vector is perpendicular to the direction of the dipole.
Method 2:
The electric field of a dipole decreases more rapidly with
distance than does the electric field of a single charge.
