 This apparently happened at Harvard University in October of lastyear.In a
 biology class, the prof was discussing the high glucose levels  found in
 semen.
 A young female (freshman) raised her hand and asked, "If  I understand,
 you're saying there is a lot of glucose, as in sugar, in  male semen?"
 "That's correct", responded the prof, going on to add statistical info.
 Raising her hand again, the girl asked, "Then why doesn't it taste sweet?"

 這是發生在去年哈佛大學的生物課上, 教授正在討論精液裡的高葡萄
 糖指數.一名女新鮮人舉手問道: "你是指在男性的精液裡, 就像一般的
 糖一樣, 含有大量的葡萄糖?"
 "沒錯"授教回答, 然後繼續加諸更多的統計資料.
 女學生又舉手問: "那為什麼它嚐起來不是甜的??"

 After a stunned silence, the whole class burst out laughing, the poor
 girl's face turned bright red, and as she realised exactly what she had
 inadvertently said (or rather implied), she picked up her books without a

 接著是一片錯愕的沈默, 然後全班開始哄堂大笑, 當這個可憐的女生發
 現自己所不小心說的(暗示的), 紅了臉十分羞愧地收拾書本一言不發地
 離開, 再也沒回來了.........

 However, as she was going out the door, the Prof.'s reply was classic...
 Totally straight-faced he answered her question: "It doesn't taste sweet
 because the taste-buds for sweetness are on the tip of your tongue and
 not the back of your throat.

 然而在女學生離開後, 教授的回答才是經典.....
 教授一本正經地說: "它嚐起不甜是因為感覺甜味的味蕾是在你的舌尖,
 而不是靠近你喉嚨的舌根......"
