The evidence against him was circumstantial and dubious at best,
so he was never charged, but the media picked up on the investigation
and effectively labeled him the bomber.
5. Why does Jewell think the government suspected him?
Because Jewell and his mother, Barbara, were held under siege in their
Northeast Atlanta apartment as FBI agents confiscated Jewell's
possessions and searched his home, storage shed and pickup truck
for clues.

being suspected?
His innocence, reputation. As a citizen, he didn't have the citizen rights.

No, he didn't think so. They should have apologized to Richard in front of
all citizens, and compensated all his loss.

killed nothing for his feeling as a human being.
