The maximum impedance of a parallel RLC circuit occurs at the resonance
frequency ω0 =1/√(LC). Using this angular resonance frequency expression and the
quality factor at resonance Q=ω0CR = R√(C/L), find (a)the 3dB angular corner
frequencies ω1,2 as functions of ω0 and Q(here, the susceptance is equal to
the conductance), and (b) show that the practical formula Q= ω0/(ω2-ω1)used to measure the quality factor is consistent with the circuit definition
given above.
