Cloud Computing Research Center for Mobile Applications (CCMA) is a
focus center in ITRI. The mission of CCMA is to develop systems
architecture and systems software technologies for cloud-scale data
centers that could eventually elevate Taiwan’s computer hardware
industry to the level of total data center solution providers. In
the last 12 months, CCMA has completed a Container Computer 1.0
prototype and a Cloud OS 1.0 prototype, and successfully transferred these
technologies to the world’s leading server ODMs. We are currently working
on the design of the second version of these prototypes, and are actively
recruiting senior engineers and managers with experiences, skills and/or
interests in the following technical areas:
(1) HAL-based virtualization technology, especially memory and I/O
virtualization
(2) Distributed storage, file and database management
(3) Data center network architecture
(4) Large-scale system/network management
(5) Software security technology that detects and/or prevents attacks, and
homomorphic encryption technology
(6) Low-power server design and implementation
