PLEASE RELEASE ME! http://www.nme.com/newsdesk/20000725172326.html A MOBY compilation album featuring the highlights of his decade-long career is set to be released later in the year. The dance star, who has received both critical and public acclaim for his most recent album, 'Play', will have the highlights of his partnership with the US label Elektra Records released as an album, tentatively titled 'Songs'. However, it is unclear whether the record will get a full UK release, as a spokesperson for Elektra in the UK told nme.com that Moby is not signed to the label here. It is possible the album will be available in the UK only as import. Moby released a number of albums through Elektra in the States in the early '90s before his chart-topping, multi- million selling ‘Play’ success. The albums included 'Ambient' and 'Everything Is Wrong', as well as the 1997 record 'I Like To Score'. After an exhaustive summer of festival appearances, Moby is still to play live at this year's V2000 Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Stafford over the weekend of August 19-20. He will launch his website, www.moby-online.com, at the end of July. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.twbbs.org) ◆ From: h66.s58.ts30.hinet.net
