今年3.8~17日將在美國德州舉辦的SXSW南南西音樂祭(South by Southwest)
是美國一個歷史悠久、盛大有名,並跨足很多領域的音樂盛事活動
今年受邀的韓國表演者主要是些獨立樂團歌手&電子團體...
只有f(x)是k-pop圈的!!
不過函數又似乎被歸為electronic-pop團體屬性
是k-pop首度獲邀參加這個活動的組合!!!!!
(查了下台灣曾受邀去表演過的也幾乎都是獨立樂團為主)

f(x) to perform at the’2013 SXSW South By Southwest’
music festival in Texas
American fans have something to look forward to as f(x) will be
performing in Austin, Texas for the upcoming ’2013 SXSW South By
Southwest‘ music festival.
‘SXSW South By Southwest’is one of the biggest annual music
conference and festival events in the United States held during
every Spring break and gathers music and film lovers from all
across the country. This year, the festival series will be held
from March 8th-17th. f(x) have also received the honor of being
the representative K-pop artists to perform at the event, leaving
fans excited for their international exposure.

f(x) is Texas-Bound for SXSW 2013
Five-member pop group f(x) will be heading Stateside next month for
the famous South By Southwest media festival, affectionately known as
SXSW. Road trip!
The SXSW Conferences and Festivals, held every Spring in Austin, Texas,
are a “unique convergence of original music, independent films, and
emerging technologies.” f(x)’s artist profile was recently published
on the festival’s website, confirming their participation in the SXSW
Music category. Their date and time of performance is TBA.
Representing Korean artists alongside f(x) at SXSW this year will be
rock bands 3rd Line Butterfly, Galaxy Express, Guckkasten, NoBrain and
Lowdown 30, electronic duo Goonam, rock soloists Yi Sung Yol and Jeong
Cha Sik, and reggae band Windy City.
SXSW 2013 will be held from March 8-17.

f(x) invited to perform for the "2013 SXSW Festival" in Texas
SXSW 2013 announced news about upcoming acts for this year's festival.
Earlier today, the event's official page added f(x) to their line-up,
further writing a full profile and article of the group.
f(x) was introduced as the atypical K-pop female group, strongly known
for their electronic-pop sound and vibrant image. They were described
as "confident, edgy and bright, known for executing more challenging
dance moves and unconventional styles in their videos and onstage." A
full list of their known tracks and awards were also included in the
artists' page.
South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual festival covering films, music
and technology, held across various venous across Austin, Texas. The
music event of the festival will take place on March 12 to 17, with
f(x)'s performance date still to be confirmed.
Last year, Korean artists such as Aziatix, Crying Nut, Galaxy Express,
Yellow Monster and 3rd Line Butterfly were invited to perform for the
event.

f(x) And K-Rock Band Galaxy Express To Perform At SXSW
KPOP is coming to Austin, Texas.
SM Entertainment‘s f(x) will be performing at SXSW 2013. Fans in the
United States can look forward to their stage, as well as that of the
Korean rock band Galaxy Express. This group has been noted for having
Korean-American member Krystal and Taiwanese-American member Amber,
whose fluency in English will make this performance outstanding.
Rock trio Galaxy Express has performed at SXSW for the past two years.
In 2012, the group embarked on their second United States tour and
released their third, self-titled album Galaxy Express. With musical
influences ranging from rock, psychedelic, and punk, Galaxy Express
will definitely be an act to catch at SXSW.
KPOP fans in the United States have been expressing the desire to see
their favorite acts outside of Los Angeles and New York. Finally, they
will have an opportunity to see major acts represented alongside artists
performing indie rock, indie pop, electronic dance music, and other
notable genres.
KPOP has definitely been gaining notoriety with the hipster movement in
the past year. SXSW (South by Southwest) is a mega music festival held
annually in Austin, Texas. Musical tastemakers, bloggers, and diehard
indie fans flock to this event en mass to witness the some of the best
performances that can be found worldwide.
SXSW has helped the city of Austin earn the title of “Live Music Capital
of the World”. The music portion of the festival takes place over the
course of five days. In 2012, it featured 547 international acts from 49
different countries. It is great to see KPOP represented within the artists
selected to perform this year.
This event will be held from March 12 through March 17 at various locations
throughout Austin, Texas.
Ticket prices start at $750 for the music badge that entitles you access to
all five days.

K-POP girl group f(x) will give SXSW an 'Electric Shock'
SXSW is coming less than a month, and there are more than 2,000 acts,
according to SXSW.
And Korean pop group by the name of f(x) is one. f(x) is a multi-national
girl group with an electric sound and flashy imagery.
The ladies in f(x) are quite well known for their electronic sound in South
Korea and surrounding Asian countries. The music video below has racked up
almost 40,000,000 views.
According to SXSW,The start of 2013 has already been fruitful for the
female group seeing them already take home a Golden Disk Award and a
Seoul Music Award for their album and song “Electric Shock.”
With their sound and image, I'm quite sure these ladies will do well in
Austin, and it does help that they have two English speakers, Amber Liu
and Krystal Jung (the younger sister of Girls' Generation member, Jessica
Jung), who are both from California.
SXSW is March 8-17.
