[新聞」Obama就職典禮提到同志平等的戰役不停息

歐巴馬在昨天第二次就職典禮的時候，
成為美國歷史上第一位於就職典禮上表達同志人權的總統。

在其就職典禮致辭的後半段，
他提到：
「We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths —
that all of us are created equal — is the star that guides us still;
just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls,
 and Selma, and Stonewall...」

我們今天宣誓最顯著的真理，既：所有人都生於平等，這是引導我們的星星，
如同引導我們祖先經歷Seneca Falls（女權運動發源地）、Selma（南北戰爭戰場）以及
Stonewall（同志爭取平等的示威地點）。

「It is now our generation's task to carry on what those pioneers began.
For our journey is not complete until our wives, our mothers, and daughters
can earn a living equal to their efforts.

（女權）
現在正是我們這一代繼續完成先鋒者展開的任務。我們的旅程只有在我們的妻子們、
母親們、和女兒們可以透過她們付出的努力得到相當的報酬才結束。

（Gay Right）
「Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are
treated like anyone else under the law — for if we are truly created equal,
then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well...」

（同志權）
我們的旅程，唯有在我們同志的兄弟們、姐妹們，在法律上獲得於所有人一樣的對待
才會結束－－－因為：如果我們生於平等，那我們付出給他人的愛也應該是平等的。
