"True love" was my first favorite song. I will never forget how moved I was
when I saw Jacky on a TV program for the first time (before that, I only
listened to the tapes). At that time, Jacky just released this album and he
sang this song on TV. That was the moment I was in love with his voice and
started to understand how music could touch my heart. Though he did not look
handsome, he was my idol when I was an elementary school student.
However, for more than a decade, I did not listen to any Cantonese or Mandarin
songs because my life was not as free as before.
A few weeks ago, I went to his concert in Taipei. This time I listened to real
Jacky singing on stage. This was indeed inspiring. It was reminiscent of the
beautiful old days when love was pure and happy. Jacky's voice reminds me of
the truth that the struggling life could not fulfill me. Lack of beautiful
music, I was stubborn.
Hope I could be as energetic and agile as I was in the childhood!
Thank you, Jacky. After searching for life for fourteen years, I am now finally
guided by your voice and spirit. I really appreciate and will always follow
your step. This time, I do not want to lose you again.
