其他西歐上的主要國家
幾乎都在三十年戰爭中殺得血流成河 打得跟豬頭一樣
法國的損失相對輕微地多
此外 日耳曼地區因三十年戰爭受創很深
但就這樣認為日耳曼從此成為文化沙漠也太武斷
因為差不多在同時間
法國在李希留和他的徒子徒孫的努力經營下 展開具有近代意義的統一的工作
(或是達太安和他那三個快樂的火槍手的吃飯 睡覺 婊英國之旅)
確立了有效的官僚制度 使權力愈來愈往中央靠攏
沒有這些建樹 敗家王路易十四想敗也沒得敗
日耳曼地區在戰爭後並非真的一厥不振
很多君主 文人們都很努力地在建設
只是和之後成為歐洲霸權的法國和未來日益強盛的英國相比較
日耳曼在戰後一百多年間的表現就顯得蒼白無力了

對經濟的打擊主要還是人口大量外移 農地荒蕪 商業活動減少等等
但日耳曼地區的經濟其實早在戰爭前就走下坡了
遇到這種問題還是去查書會比較妥當
