Hi,

    I am proud to inform you that ZK 5 has just been released.
The official release of ZK 5 marks the launch of ZK's "Developer-
Centric" paradigm. At the core are the Server+client Fusion and
Ajax-as-a-Service architectural innovations. The integration of
jQuery and Java EE 6 CDI, as well as additional enterprise level
functionalities, is among the main advancements in ZK 5.

Key advancements in ZK 5 include:
‧ Server+client Fusion; developers are free to leverage technologies
                         from both sides of the server-client architecture.
‧ Jave EE 6 CDI support; ZK is up to speed with JSR-299(Weld) having
                          integrated context dependency injection in ZK,
                          complementing ZK Spring.
‧ Event queue, which shields developers from the complexity of Ajax and
                server push, such as multi-thread programming.
‧ Creation Deference technology schedules the generation of ZK component
                      and DOM elements to boost performance and lower
                      memory usage when handling vast amounts of data
‧ Enterprise level spreadsheet functionalities such as in-place editing,
                    column freezing and auto fitting.

Product Plan
Also I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of
what we have planned this year.

One of our most exciting new products is ZK Weaver. ZK Weaver
provides a browser based WYSIWYG editor for IT staff. Additionally,
ZK Weaver is a tool which helps your customers to customize
their applications, affording them more flexibility than ever before.

We continue to push the envelope with other developments on
their way such as ZK GWT. Moreover, we will release ZKuery,
a light implementation of ZK, which extends the reach of ZK
by supporting many other frameworks and languages.

In today's world users demand more and more from their applications.
Hence, we will be introducing updates to our performance suite
which will include advanced tools for performance, stress and
unit testing ZK applications.

In addition to upgrading our tools, we are always looking to
integrate new technologies which make ZK more productive. With
this in mind we plan to offer full support of the new Java EE 6
specification, Contexts and Dependency Injection (CDI).
