我解釋一下第二題，這種at很愛考 :P

more A than B...A和B必須是平行的
也就是說
earn more salaries on the west coast (A)
than
salaries on the east coast (B)
這樣才對
或是 those on the east coast 也對

可是higher不用，比較的對象端看 than 後面所接的
higher salaries on the west coast than the east coast
這邊比較的對象是
the west coast
和
the east coast

這樣講很抽象，舉一個比較具體的例子
A. I got better scores than you. --> 錯
B. I got better scores than your scores(scores you got也可). -->對

A和B用中文翻譯和英文文法都沒錯，可是英文的比較對象卻分得很清楚
A錯的原因很簡單，你要比的是分數，而不是你們兩個人在比
B就很明確的指出比較的對象
所以普通的比較級在比較，比較的對象是以than後面所接的來判斷
但是 more A than B 是比較特殊的
A和B一定要平行

→ baobao821:然後  I got more scores than you did. 也可以 因為 AB

→ abase0001:you是主格,所以did可省略,除非你要強調時間的差異性
→ abase0001:I got more...也不對啊,more A than B,A和B不平行
