加州八胞胎的推手 、康拉瓦醫生，被美國生殖醫學會開除會籍。
加州婦人（蘇爾曼）去年透過試管手術懷孕，今年一月產下八胞胎，替她
做人工受孕的醫生康拉瓦，被認為違反醫療倫理，由於他是累犯，美國生
殖醫學會上個月開除他的會籍。
多胎懷孕以及生產，非常危險，醫生有告知的義務，康拉瓦醫生明知可能
危及病患性命，卻還是替病患植入多枚受精卵，這已經違背醫師應有的職
業道德。
被逐出醫學會雖然有損名譽，康拉瓦醫生還是可以繼續執業。

Octuplet mother's doctor expelled from professional organization

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) -
The Beverly Hills doctor who gave fertility treatments to octuplets
mom Nadya Suleman has been expelled from a professional organization.
Dr. Michael Kamrava was kicked out of the American Society for
Reproductive Medicine last month.
Group spokesman Sean Tipton said Monday that Kamrava has repeatedly
violated the group's standards. Tipton won't provide details but says
Kamrava was not expelled because of his work with any single patient.
Suleman has said Kamrava implanted her with six embryos - far more
than national guidelines specify. Suleman gave birth to octuplets
in January.
The decision may be a blow to Kamrava's prestige but it won't keep
him from practicing medicine. Tipton says the non-profit group has
no such legal authority.
A message was left with Kamrava.

該病患之前已經做過五次人工生殖,有六名小孩,
她承認醫生有告知她風險的存在,她完全瞭解多胞胎的危險
但她堅持植入6個胚胎,而且著床成功後拒絕減胎處理
Suleman said she was fully aware of the risks of carrying eight fetuses.
"I took a risk. It's a gamble. It always is."
"I wanted them all transferred," she said. "Those are my children."

聽從了指示,仍然會受到懲罰,被責備沒醫德
真是兩面不討好!
