紀錄美國當代藝術家,其作品其實是一張照片(it presents a copy of a copy
of a copy of a copy of a real falseffod)而非畫,而且它的大小,是Prince故意
”make it good、make it big”(so as to like a painting)當時有人質疑照片
I killed photography.Maybe I should
have"rescued"photography.”
(Romer
From today painting is dead!”
Prince:He doesn't know what to paint,so he took up the
camera;he doesn't know what to photograph,so he photograph the
photograph. ”Of all the mechanical poisons poured upon man in the
19th century,photography was the worst.”-John Ruskin
I'm made by the television.”
而Romer認為真正殺了攝影的是電視→”Of all the mechanical poisons poured
upon man in the 20th century, television was the worst.”
”Digital imaging and the personal computer have certainly electrified
and may have electrocuted Photography."What is Photography?"and"What are
Photographs?"are now questions as difficult to answer as"What is Truth?
"or"What is Beauty?" ”
