A challenging part time (~10-30 hours/week) opportunity for Senior Student on
Computational Lithography/Scaling.
Enabling higher resolution of Imaging Device through the use of software
innovation rather than through advances in hardware-centric (Electronic and
Optics) is possible through the use of mathematics of Level Set and Fast
Marching Methods. Currently TSMC has used some of this technique together
with 193-nm light source to print 32-nm final pattern on silicon wafers. It
is estimated that up to 3X additional resolution can be obtained through the
use of Level Set Methods if the final sample geometric shape is known.
We are recruiting aggressive student who wish to make name for himself to
attack this problem. We are applying this method to general imaging with
application in industry (Especially in Electronics field of Semiconductor,
Solar Cell, LCD and Hard Disk drive) and biomedical imaging. Student with
Math background in geometry, general applied mathematics, Hamilton-Jacobi
equation, Level Set method is desired but not mandatory.
Payment will be generous and potential candidate may lead to key position in
a new world leading imaging start up company.
Application (大學成績單及個人簡介) is being received immediately to Ms. 謝
(lyhsieh@cc.ee.ntu.edu.tw, 02-33663700 ext. 435).
