Palmira

Insomnia,
Bearing thoughts beyond
Haunting the spring of my soul,
To seek in lavish gown a flow of blonde,
To free, caged in deepest of black,
A dream that rains, to ripple a pond
Under what might become, a goose-feather pillow
The magic spell by the sorceress's wand.
Wrapped in safety, wrapped in calm,
To tie me up in an inseparable bond
That seals all crack of dimensional odd,
Enjoying what kisses to arouse and respond
A riddle to solve stirring coffee and cream
Tapping marble, to obtain what rhythm I fond:
To sing a song in merry mirth
In the fair court of Elrond.
