: 也就是中文的「韻文」的統稱，詩是其中的一種。
聖經中的verse一般中譯為「節」，如
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God." (John 1:1)
中的 1:1 會說成 chapter one verse one，「第一章第一節」。
我很好奇這樣的文字算不算是「韻文」？（when it is definitely "verse"?）
如果不算，又為何會用verse這個字來稱呼它呢？
希望有達人可以解惑！
當時希臘文應該是
"En arche en ho Logos, kai o Logos en pros ton Theon, kai Theos en ho Logos."
（第二節是 "hoytos en en arche pros ton Theon"，似乎並不押韻。）
