Christmas Bells and Rabbit

Jumpy feet as snow with beat,
To seek and knock a tinkling ring,
Hovering above as skies with green,
A line to leash a nibbling glee.

So you found a path though steep
That weaves and shines a room of heat.
Though stumble and fall
So wiggles a ball,
Yet comfort may sound,
So snow does crawl, so white and calm,
When night stays long,
With candles and songs.

Warmth and cold but between a wall
Angels of bliss lives within our house,
Curious play can cleanse a night
That huddles under darkness and sigh,
As we thank our heavenly gift
Before dinner be served,
As your prayers be heard.
